being nice and being a doormat is but a thin line to some. we're nice in our business dealings and yes, we are taken advantage of because of our docile nature at times. that's where the problem comes in. because we need to put an official front to things, we can be sometimes looked upon as being aggressive. and me being a girl, the job gets even tougher. you know the usual sayings when you meet a mean nasty lady. so, i am always careful of what i project and have to strike an even more balanced approach to avoid being stereotyped as such.
boy, i'm all stretched out today and i have a couple of hours more to go. you see, there was a electrical short circuit earlier, something that could have been avoided if checks were more thoroughly made earlier. alas, it is too late now. i have blown an acoustic amplifier and a keyboard. we're talking about thousands of dollars here. sigh. who will take the blame? as it is now, they are saying it is due to our 'wet' keyboard when the ceiling poured two months back.
why can't i have a nice sunny sunday with a walk in the park instead?
