how to live a long life
- you've got to be rich.
- have a balanced lifestyle, be at peace with yourself and get your footings right with God.
okay... i can go on, but whatever is going to be on that list is all going to be overshadowed by dot number one. you really need dough for everything.
so, for those starting out young (to me 18 is young), please get your head screwed right. get into the habit of saving. you don't need that extra halter, nor that branded tee. it all adds up to a frightful amount when you count your splurges over twenty years. i bet you can buy half an apartment with that. don't believe? say, $250 a month x 12 months x 20 years.. fainted yet for those who are now 35 years and above? we're talking about $60,000 here! and don't even talk about the months we go over the $250!
i wish i had started earlier. and nope, i don't want to live that long. it's not a conducive place for the aged here.

That's right! Listen to Misti here! Do your maths and nod your head! Wear Crocodile, not Kleins!!

if earning power is there, i guess it's okay lah. it's for those borderline cases who will face problem later on in life. anyway, after the age of 38, if one is not stable, it's going to be a long road on. unless the candidate is so hot that every headhunter still goes after. or there's a legacy left by the forefather/mother/uncle. lol.
